VINE (Victim Information and Notification Everyday)
The California VINE system is a service through which victims of crime can use the telephone or Internet to search for information regarding the custody status of their offender and to register to receive telephone and e-mail notification when the offender's custody status changes. The toll-free number for the California VINE system is (877) 411-5588. This service is brought to you by the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office and is provided to assist victims of crime who have a right to know about their offender's custody status. Marsy's Law
On November 4, 2008, the voters of the State of California approved Proposition 9, the Victims' Bill of Rights Act of 2008: Marsy's Law, a measure to provide all victims with rights and due process. An overview of some of the key sections of Marsy's Law are available in English or Spanish.

Lumina Alliance
Lumina Alliance is a non-profit organization that provides crisis intervention and treatment services to survivors of sexual and intimate partner violence and their loved ones. All services are provided confidentially, free of charge and in English and Spanish to anyone regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or ability.

The Women's Shelter Program of San Luis Obispo County
The Women's Shelter Program of San Luis Obispo County serves victims of intimate partner violence and child abuse. Services include a 24 hour crisis line (781-6400), emergency safe house, legal assistance, counseling, transitional housing, and case management. The District Attorney's Victim/Witness Assistance Center
The Victim/Witness Assistance Center provides a wide variety of crisis and support services to all types of crime victims and their families, including assisting eligible victims with applications to the state for payment of crime-related expenses. In addition, staff support victims and witnesses throughout the criminal justice process by providing case status information and coordination of court appearances.
