The Coroner's Unit of the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office has identified the pilot who died in a plane crash on 1-2-13 in the Oceano Dunes. The man is identified as 56-year-old Glen Philip Ray of Grover Beach. Coroner's investigators say Ray died as a result of sharp force trauma injuries. The Sheriff's Office conducted the death investigation. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) are conducting the crash investigation.
