Mutual Aid & Public Safety (MAPS) Team

The Mutual Aid & Public Safety (MAPS) Team is a mobile field force team, that is the primary responder to mutual aid callouts ranging from natural disasters to civil unrest. Members of MAPS also respond with the Sheriff’s Special Enforcement Detail (SED) during certain emergencies. MAPS provides security for SED during callouts as an additional barrier of protection, by creating a perimeter of containment around the SED operation to prevent any breaches.
