On 12-15-2025, the Sheriff's Office received a report of a child sexual abuse allegation. Detectives with the Sheriff's Office Special Victim's Unit began an immediate investigation.
During the course of the investigation, two victims were identified. Both victims are female under the age of 14. The sexual abuse began several years ago.
A suspect was identified as 67-year-old Victor Manuel VillaMedina of Nipomo.
It was determined VillaMedina committed various sexual acts with both victims over the course of the past few years.
VillaMedina was arrested on 12-17-2025 for multiple counts of lewd acts with a child under the age of 14, sexual penetration with force with a victim 10 years old or younger, sexual penetration with a victim 10 years old or younger, and aggravated sexual assault of a minor by force.
