Crime Stoppers

San Luis Obispo’s Crime Stoppers is a countywide, non-profit, community program that unites the public, the media, and law enforcement in the fight against crime. The program offers anonymity and cash rewards to citizens who furnish information leading to the arrest and indictment of felony crime offenders. Anonymity overcomes fear of involvement. Cash overcomes penalty. To anonymously report a crime from anyplace in San Luis Obispo County call 805-549-STOP (7867), download the free mobile app at, or report through their website,

Crime Stoppers is funded by private, tax deductible donations of money, goods, or services from the community, including businesses, corporations, clubs, associations, retailers, and individuals. If you would like to help, please call Crime Stoppers today, at 805-549-STOP (7867).

San Luis Obispo County implemented the Crime Stoppers Program in 1982. To date, more than $1,520,258 worth of stolen property and narcotics has been recovered.
