The Coroner's Unit of the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office is releasing information on a woman who was struck by a train near Industrial Way in San Luis Obispo on 1-4-16. The victim was transported to a local hospital where she later died from her injuries. The victim has been identified as 54-year-old Saralee Lua.
The manner of death is listed as accidental with the cause of death listed as exsanguination from blunt force trauma injuries. Toxicology results are pending.
